Humanity, reliability, and flexibility. These are common buzzwords—but we put them into practice every day.
Our managers are always ready to listen. “Like one big family”— that’s how our team describes our collaboration. This leads to long-term loyalty and low turnover. Thank you to our team for the strong sense of togetherness.

Consistent quality in the right quantity at the agreed-upon time—and technology that works reliably. Our customers know that we keep our promises. Because for us, our word is our bond.
With our own flexible fleet of vehicles, we are independent. This has allowed us to supply construction sites with building materials on short notice during bottlenecks, thereby preventing work stoppages. In addition to delivery capabilities and technology, this naturally requires a dedicated, loyal team that we can be proud of.

When you call us, you speak directly with decision-makers. This ensures that your requests are addressed immediately. We can deliver quickly, even for last-minute orders. Thanks to our high-performance equipment, our own fleet of vehicles, and our high level of responsiveness.

“The entrepreneurial courage our grandfathers demonstrated over 70 years ago when they purchased the quarry in Hirschlanden laid the foundation for today’s company. The next generation is well on its way to maintaining and building upon the company’s success. Seeking and finding compromises when making decisions is a key to success.”
Petra Ulmer
“I want to build on what my grandfather once started with courage and a sense of responsibility. For our employees, who are walking this path with us. For our customers, with whom we bring construction projects to life as partners. And for the future we are shaping together.”
Maximilian Ulmer

“When I see our silos standing in spectacular locations, it makes me proud. Because it shows that, as a long-standing family-owned business, we offer the right solutions to meet the needs of our customers across Europe.”
Florian Rombold
“Knowing that our company offers a career path to nearly 80 people is my greatest motivation. And not only that—we really enjoy working together!”
Christian Rombold

1953
Purchase of the quarry in Hirschlanden by the founding partners Josef Rombold, Eugen Rombold, and Heinz Gfröhrer. The first decades at the Ditzingen quarry were marked by the production of road building materials—much of which was done by hand. Today, we are in our second and third generations.
1986
Expansion of the product range to include new building materials. Start of production of dry mix for the manufacture of shotcrete and development of the technology.

1993
40th company anniversary and inauguration of the compact plant for the production of concrete aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and dry mix.
1998
Construction of a new primary crushing plant to optimize the performance of our production facility.

2004
Commissioning of the mixing plant for specialty products.
2023
Commissioning of a new ROTO‑PACKER® to optimize performance in the bagged goods sector.
