Challenges

Access roads to the construction site closed due to avalanche risk
No access possible for several months (during the winter months)
Need to stockpile 900 tons of building materials
Storage of building materials at an altitude of 2,000 meters in very low temperatures

Approach

Establishment of a self-sufficient on-site supply of building materials
Installation of several company-owned buffer silos with a capacity of up to 900 t
Ensuring self-sufficient construction site operations

Products supplied

dry mix for the production of wet-sprayed concrete C 25\30, grain size 0–8 mm

Techniques used

8 storage silos, total capacity: 540 m3 / 900 t
