Challenges

• The tunnel was constructed by driving from the mountain toward the valley. As a result, all building materials had to be transported up the mountain.
• Transport of building materials was possible only via the material cable car
• Low weight capacity of the cable car

Approach

• To reduce the transport weight, we developed a building material container featuring an innovative lightweight design
• Weight-optimized transport containers for feeding our mountain-side pressure vessels

Products supplied

• Dry shotcrete C 35\45 with steel fibers, J3, grain size 0–8 mm

Techniques used

• Two buffer silos, each 50 m³ _~ 160 t
• Special transport containers in lightweight construction for cable car transport
• Two horizontal pressure vessels
