The goal was to find a dry shotcrete technique as an alternative to wet-sprayed concrete that produces particularly low dust emissions

Approach

• Development of a new discharge technique for dry mix using a bucket wheel with particularly low dust generation
• Use of a building material mix with high early strength

• Dry shotcrete C 25\30, J2, particle size 0–8 mm

Techniques Used

• Two spray silo systems, each consisting of a pressure silo topped with a 50 m³ buffer silo
